The consultancy office for BIPV offers two different guided tours throughout the year free of charge. The starting point for both tours are located at the Competence Centre Photovoltaics Berlin (PVcomB) in Berlin Adlershof or are in close vicinity to it.
The Living Lab for BIPV
During this guided tour we provide detailed insights into our Living Lab for BIPV. The laboratory building has a 380 m² blue solar facade, which is architecturally integrated to blend harmoniously into the appearance of the building. Highlights include exclusive insights into the planning and installation as well as the lessons learned from several years of operation. This guided tour usually lasts 30 minutes.
BIPV-Tour through Adlershof
In this guided tour, various BIPV installations can be investigated and compared with each other here. The Adlershof Science and Technology Park (WISTA) in Berlin offers a uniquely high density of BIPV systems in a small area within walking distance of each other. Highlights are particularly old BIPV systems (>20 years) and also particularly new systems (e.g. our Living Lab for BIPV), which show the rapid development of photovoltaics in the last couple of years. This guided tour usually lasts 1-2 hours. Note: This guided tour includes the above mentioned tour of the Living Lab.
Both tours are offered in German and English and, depending on the audience, can go into more detail (e.g. for architects) or focus more on the basics (e.g. for pupils/students). If you are interested, please do not hesitate to contact us!
